On behalf of The Adam Gardiner Foundation we would like to invite you to our first charity race day to be held at Rosehill Garden in the directors suite on Saturday 29th October 2011.
The race day coincides with Derby Day in Melbourne which was one of Adam’s favorite race days. The day promises to be one full of fun and your involvement will help raise desperately needed funds for The Adam Gardiner Foundation. We will be enjoying the race day at Rosehill Gardens with a three course meal, beverages, best dressed prizes and much much more.
To those of you who have been much valued supporters over the past five years you will recall that we have held the Annual Golf Day at this time of the year. Due to the present economic situation we feel that a Race Day would be a more appropriate method to raise funds for the Foundation. To those of you who have not been involved in the Golf Days we feel that this is a way to appeal to a wider scope of supporters.
The Adam Gardiner Foundation's mission is to raise funds & awareness for Amyloidosis while working within the structure of Westmead Hospitals Immunology Department and its Institute for Immunology & Allergy Research (IIAR).
Even though we are in tough economic times The Adam Gardiner Foundation survives through your support and generous donations. I hope that you will consider the memory of Adam and the people who are suffering with this terrible disease and help The Westmead Amyloidosis Clinic reach its goals.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 29th October 2011.
Once again, I would like to thank our sponsors for their continued support and donations.
